I'm from Idaho, where there are few people and a whole lot of beautiful wilderness, but i want to bring my new college friends lake camping this weekend. I was thinking maybe lake arrowhead or green valley, and suggestions for a beautfiul and fun camping experience?

I posted an answer to someones question about taking sandwiches and after that I had an idea that i'm going to try out this friday on my day off. Get some water and get it hot but not quite to a boil yet. Then put in some peppered beef jerky, green onions, red potatoes (chopped), then maybe something like a little rice or Ramen... Any suggestions? What would you do different? Or would you be the kind of person to look at that stew and think it was slop for pigs?
